NSTA Attendees Invited to "Celebrate Boston!"

Gala event at Museum of Science for conference-goers

Educators attending the upcoming National Science Teachers Association (NSTA) conference in Boston are invited to attend a special "Celebrate Boston!" event at the Museum of Science on Friday, April 4th from 6:00 -10:00 p.m.

Guests will be able to tour the Museum's exhibit halls, including the Hall of Human Life, a brand-new dynamic exhibition that explores human biology, nutrition, and evolution through five inquiry areas, and the popular Butterfly Garden, where you can walk among the free-flying residents of a tropical conservatory. IMAX films and shows at the Charles Hayden Planetarium will also be open to visitors.

The National Earth Science Teachers Association hosts its "Friends of Earth Science Reception" during the event from 6:30 – 7:00 pm, and the Riverview Cafe will offer a taste of Boston with clam chowder or a Fenway frank.

Event sponsors include Scholastic Science Magazines and the educational publisher It's About Time.

Admission is free with an NSTA conference badge, and free bus shuttles will run from from Convention Center to the Museum starting at 5:45 pm; free parking is also available in the Museum garage. Watch the EiE Facebook feed for more details i.
